I remember cassette tapes, too -- still have boxes of them around here somewhere. As for white girls and the blues, I've found that over the years Amy's songs have spoken to wherever I've been in my life... and there can be something very comforting in the blues. "Raining on the inside..." (And I love Ashley Cleveland's music, too!)

I pray that you will have a fun time in Florda with your family.
I have been going to the career service center and I have had my resume redone during my work shop I had where I learned about intervewing techniques and a lot of helpful things. I do not have a lot of friends and I have asked a few people I know if they hear of any jobs. I am unsure if I want to continue to be a preschool teacher because of some things that has happened when I was fired. Thanks and I will continue to pray for you also
It is difficult to keep searching when you get no responses, trust me - I understand this.
Another thing you need to try is to connect with family, previous co-workers, and friends that are in the fields you want to be in. Ask them to look at your resume and suggest improvements for you. Then, instead of calling the preschools and asking for a job (yes, this is the goal) ask the director if you can simply go in and meet with them for 15 - 20 minutes just to talk. Then, you can ask them what you should be doing - get them to work for you and help with places you can apply.
